The application has a whole set of templates and examples to get you started. You can also drag the shapes from the toolbar to get started. The drawing program lets you align and arrange everything perfectly and give your diagrams a professional look. Common graphic formats are supported and printing is what you see is what you get. Zoom, scroll, multi session and multi level undo/redo support makes drawing an easy task. Selection of colors, fonts, shapes, styles, pictures, text and symbol for each object of the diagram are available.
Overall: A really useful tool for creating software documentation. Covers quite a few of the standard methodologies.
